It's a combination of the names of Vritra, a legendary asura; Garuda, a mythical bird who has made several other appearances in the seires; and the Mandah, an Arabian category of protective deities. It is rather an eyesore, though.

Tritoch could refer to the fact that it's Japanese name comes from three mythical sources, but I could be way off.

Actually, yeah, that would make sense. I believe it was also the Phantom Beast that had a tri-elemental attack.

Order it from eBay. Shouldn't be hard, they made billions of copies for the Greatest Hits version.

Although I'm ****ing **** at it, so I'm not sure why I'm telling you to play it

Indeed, I have no skills or any apparent taste in tactical games, so I don't want to spend money unless the story is ****ing phenomenal.

I always found Anima to be the most useful, personally. A pretty dependable 99,999 once you got Yuna's stats up high enough.

That said, after a certain point, I didn't find aeons to be useful at all. But then, the limit breaks we got in the U.S. version of FFX were teh suck.
Anima was probably my favourite aeon to use too. Plus the cutscene you got with using it was pretty cool as it thwacked away at the target.
