But I have heard rumours that Square are not bringing FFXI to Europe. Apparently they are thinking that the need to translate the game into so many different languages outweighs any profits they may make... I hope this isn't true (Although by 2004 I'll be too bothered about my money to buy it) and I hate the way we get screwed around, having to wait so long...
Well, can anyone dispel (Hehe, got to use a spell name) my fears, or far less preferably, can anyone confirm them? |

Well it's rather logical. The translation and localisation costs would be phenominal, and mutli-ligual language support could prove to be an issue.
However with the current number of MMORPG's on the internet, that currently work fine, it shows that it's not impossible to accomplish.
However I'm not exactly that bothered about FFX:I, if it's released then YAY! if not, then I'm not fussed. |

| I feel sorry for you guys. But still we get it sooner but you het it with better junk. There aren't even dark aeons in our version of FFX. |

The wait, in most ways, outweighs the many cons that is the act of patience. By waiting for a later release, they can be sure everything is working and updated.
Plus, as is the case with Final Fantasy X, Americans didn't receive the bonus disk, dark aeons, and the other small details that go along with the European Final Fantasy X release. So, all in all, waiting benefits more alltogether. |
