DARK AEONS. LETS FACE IT PEOPLE WE'VE ALL HAD OUR ASSES KICKED BY THEM. SO ANYONE WHOS HAVING TROUBLE WITH ANY DARK AEON OR BOSS OR ANYONE WHO HAS ANY GOOD STRATEGIES POST HERE.
I PERSONALLY AM NEARING THE EDGE OF SANITY FIGHTING (TRYING TO FIGHT) DARK YOJIMBO.FRUSTRATION IS STARTING TO SET IN SO IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME A FEW POINTERS ID BE GRATEFUL. |

Dark Yojimbo...you gotta fight him five times...and you cant save...coz it resets.... .....Sometimes you get lucky and he doesnt do zanmoto...but if he does...thats it..its over.....High levels...making randomn batlles useless, after you beat him, to beef your character up ...and LOADSA gil... Using Zanmoto on him is the way......Mimics can provide the best source of income....with the gillionaire ability equipped on one or more charcters.... |

| I also found some very good strategies for this by a guy called "Split Infinity." His guide is posted at www.videogames.com (aka Gamespot). In the search box, type in "Final Fantasy X." Then click on the Playstation 2 version of Final Fantasy X (shouldn't be hard to find considering it's the ONLY version you will see selectable for it lol), then scroll down in the FAQ and guides section or go to the "Hints" section and check out some of the guides there but like I said "Split Infinity" gave some incredibly detailed info on, well, EVERYTHING in FFX (and yes I read the strategies for the battle you speak of and the other Aeon and Dark Aeon battles that are in the game, so I know that he is good and knows what he is talking about). |

| why don't you use Yojimbo,pay him to make he use zanmato,somebody say you must pay him 1,3 milion, but if i summon Yojimbo i always pay him 1, sometimes he use Zanmato. |

That makes his Friendship Rating plummet which means you have less chance of him using Zanmato.
I beat Dark Yojimbo without using my Yojimbo. Anytime Dark Yojimbo gets it's Overdrive bar full, Summon an Aeon as a shield because he ALWAYS uses Zanmato when his Overdrive his full.
Really you need the weapon abilites FIRST STRIKE, AUTO PHOENIX, AUTO LIFE. AUTO HASTE helps.
BE WARNED Dark Yojimbo's Zanmato will kill you regardless of whether you have AUTO LIFE or not because the attack neutralizes all revival magic. |

ARGH, i hate people that use kamikazi aeons that ruins your band with them. Then most find it strange that their aeons do almost never overkills or their yojimbo never uses zanmoto. I beat dark yojimbo to with my characters without yojimbo, i beat every single dark aeon + penance without yojimbo. You just have to max up your characters and complete the monster species conquest first there you find and recieve the right stuff to make über weapons. Once you have good stats and über weapons then face the dark aeons ... |
