| Is there any way to beat underwater weapon, in the sub around junon? |

|
|
| yep, the easiest way is to get knights of the round and mime it. to get knights of the round, you'll need to get a gold chocobo. |

well, then. I don't have the slightest patience for chocobo breeding. so, oh well.
So says the panda. |

| unless you are really good at materia combos then you should use Death7's advice |

Instead of typing it all out, here's a great explanation I've found on another site that shows you how to beat the Emerald Weapon with relative ease:
=== Defeating the Emerald Weapon ===
"The Emerald Weapon has an attack that can kill you in one attack no matter how many HP's you have. He has a whopping 1 million HP's!!! so i bet you've already guessed that he's gonna be pretty hard to beat. You'll need KOR to beat him. He is found near Junon and he'll only appear after you've killed ultima weapon (that's the flying one). Here is what you need to beat him: 9999 HP and 999 MP, and every1 with mime materia. You'll need plenty of elixirs and megalixirs so you should use the copy item trick . You'll also need as many Knights Of the Round(KOR) materia's you can get on level 2 or higher. At least two mime materias again the more the better because then the mime chain will be longer. As many final attack materias you can get again the more the better and the higher the level the better also. Revive or Phoenix at the highest level you can get it at but level 2 will do. W-Summon materia so you can cast KOR twice then the mime chain will be even longer. Hp absorb at the highest possible level so you can get plenty of HP back when you attack. 3 pairs of sprint shoes so every1 is in haste to get the job done faster. And last but not least MP absorb linked with all of your KOR materias. Now here is what you need to get ready and how to do it. First equip KOR, final attack, mime, W-Simmon and revive or Phoenix materia to appropriate characters and then link HP absorb or MP absorb to KOR if you have more than 1 KOR you have the advantage. Then link Phoenix to final attack on one of your characters or more if you have more final attack and phoenix materia. Now it helps to have some weapons with strong growth for when you beat him (don't worry if your weapons aren't that strong because all you're gonna use to attack is KOR. Now comes the challenging part actually beating emerald weapon: When you first enter the battle cast KOR with the person who was W-Summon. Then as soon as you get to the next character cast mime and if he doesn't then don't do anything and just pick defend. If you keep on doing this very very fast then Emerald won't even get a chance to attack you (that's very very handy). He should die after about 10-11 attacks with KOR (that takes a while). If he does get a chance to attack then you shouldn't have to worry because you have HP absorb and get HP's every time you attack so don't stop miming. Now he should be dead after 10-11 attacks so good job if you did it Now here is what you get from beating him: First save your game. You will get the earth harp and go to Kalm and go to the top right house on the bottom, now talk to the old man who is in the upstairs of the house and he will say oh, the earth harp and will trade you for master magic, master summon, and master command. From this one battle you get 50,000 AP."
Good luck. |

| Jus make it simple for the guy. Get KOTR. You can probably go to eysonff.com or sumthin to get advice to do it in less than half hours worth of time. Than max that out easily by goin to the crater and on the way bottom in that cave like place where it has gold trees and stuff. Max out your KOTR and get 2 mimes. max KOTR till it can do 9999 damage. Fight Emerald and hes no problem. |

| I beat Emerald in 5 min with nothing but level 99 characters with KOTR equipped on each of them. It took over two years to get my characters to that level, but at least it was something to do. |

| It took me about 2 weeks...I did it for hours though. Did you go face them little orange bouncing balls in the crater? |
