One of the seemingly inescapable rules of popular music is that, when you sit down and actually pay attention to the lyrics, what you're hearing will sound ridiculous or be some kind of non-sequitur nonsense. Assuming this is here quote is in audible english at any point, sticking to pure latin lyrics would have been better. You could pretend the song didn't sound quite so silly that way, like how you always have the Japanese voice track in fighting games to avoid the obvious cheese.
It may sound great (and it does), but that doesn't mean it has good lyrics. |
