Just as the title says who do you think was the weakest character in FFIX?

I believe Garnet was the weakest, because although she had more summons then Eiko, they weren't more powerful. And of the two she was the weakest white mage, she could not use Full-Life for example, so i believe there was no point of adding her to your team since there was already another stronger character who did the same, only better.

I hated Eiko. Not only was she absoloutly pointless - already having a white mage/summoner from the beginning of the game. She was hella annoying! She was so blatently your typical hyper active pain in the ass character. Like Yuffie and Zell and Rikku. Yet she still sucked more than those 3 combined!

I took Garnet over Eiko purely because she annoyed me less.

At least Eiko didn't have periods where she "couldn't concentrate".. That was hella dumb.

I agree, and it's more pointless to have Garnet in your team, since she is a weaker white mage too.

I voted Quina. Garnet was actually one of my strongest summons and you can't go wrong with the Ark summon imo .

Also the reason I voted Quina is because I always thought the Blue Magics were the weakest forms of magic .

I'm just saying because I always thought the blue magic was the weakest of the spells. I always thought both Eiko and Garnet were stronger than Quina. In my opinion the Summons are the gods of magic in the Final Fantasy games .

What I never understood is the whole debate "oh white mages have weak pysical attacks at the beginning of the games, therefore they're not strong altogether" . I always thought that arguement was a bit flawed because a character can have strong pysical attacks, but can also have sucky spells XD. That's why Amarant and Quina weren't my favorite characters to use. But that's just me .
