In a physical fight, Aeris would be no match for Tifa. However, if magic were allowed, Aeris might have a chance.

Aerith is a dumb slut that pretends to care a about other people's feelings, while deliberately trying to win Cloud away from Tifa. Then, she stupidly goes off alone and gets herself killed.

Tifa knows this and still genuinely cares about her, as well as everyone else in the gang. She stays by Cloud's side to save his deteriorating mental state, risking her life for him.

Personality-wise, I'd go for Tifa. Noble to a fault and extremely loyal to her friends.

And don't get me started on much Tifa would wipe the floor with Aerith in a brawl.

Tifa, I liked Aeris but she was my least favorite charcter in the game. Not only would Tifa wipe the floor with Aeris so would Cait Sith the catbot was uber sweet lol

Great Gospel -> Spam something that does damage. Aerith is pretty broken with limit breaks. She'd win for free.

And some of you seem to be getting really angry here. Stop getting angry at video games that aren't Kingdom Hearts or Sonic 2006.
