Did anyone here beat the WEAPONs using an uncheap manner?? Y'know, those big red and green guys from FF7 with a million HP... Being only around level 60-70, the only possible way I could think of was linking Knights with HP Absorb, Phoenix with Final Attack, Mime every turn, and tweaking other stats to power up half an hour's worth of summons before they died. Anyone else come up with something more creative?
(and the red one was so much easier than the green one -- you know it!  ) |

| I just used ultima and my strongest limit break for everybody and just laughed as i saw them die. |

I'll write up what I can remember when I get home - managed to beat Ruby and Emerald without any form of cheating/looping, which I'm damn proud of. Took me an age though...

well, I usually do the KotR linked to hp absorb and then keep miming, but recently I found something more effective....
all lucky 7's! messa know's exactly how to do it too, against emerald anyway |

| It's impossible to set your HP so you get lucky 7s!! I've tried EVERY single HP PLus materia combo... |

| It depends what level ur on to how you get lucky 7's I only managed that on one character, and I havnt beaten the weapons, being on level 99 didnt help much either! |

ok.. this is a great way (in my opinion)
1: get 99 megalixr's (using w-item)
2: get 4 x cut and equip to cloud
3: use a hyper on each character (to help limit faster)
4: get a limit for each character before you start (level 4 e.g omni slash, catastrophe etc)
In battle
1: use limits
2: use 4x slash every turn with whoever has it equiped
3: use a megalixr every turn with a certain character
just keep doing this and youl win  |

Well to beat Ruby, I had mystile on, two mimes, Mastered Final Attack and Pheonix, W-summon, KOtR linked with HP absorb.
and i entered the battle with two characters dead, this causing Ruby to put his hands into the ground strait away and then just blasted him away with mime as he missed me with his Ultima and comet cause of Mystile

| Yeah that's kinda what I did... except I came in with one dead and had the other chracter cast Big Guard. |
