Xaiver's Guide to Defeating Omega Weapon
The Ultimate Monster in FFVIII - The SuperBoss of the game - Harder than Ultimecia

Ok. Omega Weapon is the hardest monster in the game. It's stats are:

HP: 750000+ (This depends on what level you face him at)
Exp: None
AP: 250

Attacks: Gravija, Level 5 Death, Megido Flame, Terra Break, Normal Attack, Various Magic Spells

Battle Location

Ultimecia's Castle - Chapel

Pre-Battle Requirements

Preferred party: Squall, Selphie and Zell

Position your party in the courtyard just outside chamber with the organ. Switch to your other party and move them to the gallery. At the bottom of the stairs towards the left hangs a rope. Pull the rope to ring a bell, then switch parties. Move your party north to the chapel to encounter Omega Weapon. You have around 1 minute to reach Omega Weapon.

Usually when you enter the chapel, there is a black cloud. That is Omega Weapon in his unawoken state.

Before making these moves make sure you have following:

100 Death Junctioned to Status Defense.
100 Ultima and Full-Life Junctioned to Elemental Defense.
100 Aura
A plentiful supply of Megalixirs, Phoenix Pinions.
(Most importantly)All of the castle's seal broken.
Auto Haste on everyone.
All the Ultimate Weapons.

The Fight Begins....

Should you get the first move in and follow the preferred party mentioned above, cast Double on the person with Aura and get them to cast Aura on Squall and Zell. Get them to Use their Limits Breaks. Make use of Meltdown. Don't attack with Magic, this monster absorbs neraly every kind of magic. Usually, Omega Weapon starts with either Lv 5 Death, but that shouldn't be a problem if you have 100 Deaths junctioned. Keep Zell and Squall pummelling with Limits. After which, Omega Weapon should use either Gravija or Megido Flame. Quickly recover using megalixirs should this happen, then continue with limits. After a while Omega Weapon should use his ultimate attack: Terra Break. This will severly damage your party. Quickly revive and recover and continue the offense until you win.

Should all else fail:

This fight can be won in 2 moves should you use the recommended party. Cast Aura on Selphie, and let her use The End. This will kill Omega Weapon automatically.

Scenario: All but one character is dead, what should I do?

One of the following:

Revive your party

or

RUN AWAY! Yes. It's possible, although the Boss Fight music plays, Omega Weapon is classed as a normal monster.

Just don't attempt to run from Ultimecia. You can't.

Should you win you get:

1xThree Stars. This allows one GF to learn Expend3x1, which allows you to cast 3 of the same spell at a cost of 1.

and you also get:

Bragging rights. Yes. Once defeated, go to your menu, then to Tutorial, and then to Information. At the bottom you'll see a new option called "Proof of Omega." It is a certificate, congratulating you on defeating Omega Weapon.

Don't think this is an easy fight. It took me 2 hours. o.O

Good Luck on defeating Omega Weapon.

This is FFVIII. Had you read the second line, you would've noticed this.

Nah, this is a way of beating him without any invincibilty items. It worked for me, it'll work for others.
