Need a gold Chocobo, then run him to a little island thats pretty hidden around the north east part of the map I believe, inside should be the materia. You cant fly there with the airship because theres nowhere to land, so need the gold chocobo. Good luck.

+Breed a blue chocobo.
+Breed a green chocobo.
+Mate those two together to get a black chocobo.
+Mate a black chocobo with a "wonderful" chocobo to get a gold one.
It might take a few tries to get the right color of chocobo, and boosting their stats at the gold saucer would help greatly.
Actually the island is at the corner of the world map....you can't see it on the world map though: its too small. Just fly or walk a gold chocobo towards the very corner of the world map (assuming you have it set to a flat map) and you should find it!
i'ts on an island you can't see on world map, i belive at top..right? anyway my suggestion is forget it, i hate KotR, it makes the game far too easy, the onyl thing more powerful than it is Omnislash powered up and well, it's just a way to take the challenge out of the game imo

I personally hated KotR cos it took so long to use it. I remember the first time I used it was battling a weapon and I had KotR-Quadra Magic... Boy was that a mistake. -.-; I never used it again after that. *shrugs*
It's on the north east corner of the map and it's unmapped territory which is why it's not shown on the map, same as Cactuar Island I guess...
Dooze...in my opinion...KOTR is key to winning the game...you have to get a gold chocobo, then head north east, some where out there in that corner of the world, there's an island, on the island there's a cave, go inside and look around for the KOTR materia...
Get a Gold Chocobo, through means of Breeding and Racing. Now there is small continent, more like an island with cave, in you go and there ya r, the best summon in FFVII. Knights of the Round.
Actually the game was already very easy without KotR. That is why I never even tried to get KotR because then it woulda been even easier. This game is by far the easiest of the FF's. Also the most annoying when it comes to getting super powerful stuff. (who wants to breed chocs? boring as hell, and don't knock my comment, I tried for a while and it was way too boring for me)
