Well everyone has probably heard the rumours about that the Square team wanting to create a sequel to FFVII. I think this is a mistake, the team says it would be set 500 years after the original. Meaning Cloud, Barrett, Tifa, Yuffie etc would be dead except Red XIII who would still be alive which, no offence to Red, would be really boring and would mean the others decendants would play the lead roles. I think that this would be an almighty mistake and should not even be considered cause it would kill the game we all loved FF7.

nah! i dont hink they would whats FFVII with out some of the orignal characters I think the source that Tyrannus got was a false rumour *shrugs* (though i might be wrong them i apologise to tyrannus)

It was on a game magazine website whcih I found on a search and I think there`s something similar on the FFR front page, try the articles there.

Wasnt there something on FFR on this? It didnt say anything about being 500 years later. in fact, it mentioned barret and tifa. so uh, i think ur info is false...

mm.. this has to be a rumour..
I've haven't seen any sources including this kind of information about FFVII-2.
I still think that FFVII-2, is nothing more than a stupid rumour..

have they confirmed it?
