no confirmation ... only hinted by the producer of Squaresoft but he did quote "very likly to be a sequal to FFVII" so dont get yer hope up just yet

hopefully no.. I wouldn't wanna see a sequel based on FFVII..
I want a really "new" FF game.. with a different story, world and characters..

acording to psm magasine [ playstation magasine] the sequels and possible prequels have been cancelled until further notice. there is little chance that they will resume
