FFVII: For it's original gameplay, Materia-based system, Storyline, and for being the very first 3D RPG to brace the FF name..
FFVIII: Graphics, Triple Triad.. that's all..
FFIX: Graphics..
Nothing beats FFVII in my book.. |

Well to be honest, I've enjoyed every Final Fantasy very much, and everything in this world has its flaws. To be honest, I liked Final Fantasy VII due to personal reasons as it was the first Final Fantasy to inspire me to carry myself further into the series.
Final fantasy VIII was a scientific difference with more lifelike characters. In my opinion the story began to fade to a linear role, but I adored it the way it shot straight up again in the storlyine section.
Final Fantasy IX was an enjoyable more 'medieval' style Final Fantasy with abstract characters but in my opinion it had very detailed graphics and animations, while its game play was brilliant as one example is having four people in a battle. |

FFVII was a huge jump from VI, the materia system was easy to use, even for begginers. It manged to balace tactical combat with an involving storyline and it had cutting edge graphics for the time.
FFVIII. The story just blew any book or film out of the water. The imagery of the world, the design of the characters and achetecture was huge compared to VII. A bigger game in all respects. Although this was let down by the dodgy draw system, it remains my favourite.
FFIX was squaresoft's marmite. You either loved it or hated it. I love | | | |
