yeah. he always detroys me... it seems like he has infiniite HP. i did beat him once on my old computer, but it died and i lost the save...

and yeah it's FF4, and the one where you can't use metallic metals for most of the dungeon...

Those are pretty general tips. Basically do everything you would in any other FF game, (i.e. level-ups, weapon purchases, different equipment and whatever they have instead of materia.) Also, what's his main attack? if you have an equivalent to an accessory in that game, see if there is an item that dampens that specific attack.

BTW, BD, I thought you had enough experience with evil elves in English class to be able to handle them by now. LOL

FF Games are pretty easy. Can't beat a guy? Just level up! That's why I liked FFVIII, cause if you level up, it doesn't help you usually.
