| hmm, I'd say all of them had their weak and strong points.. sometimes the trickier characters are the best, they just takes a bit more time to figure out... I found Relms ability pretty useful, but there are other good things about her. I didn't really have the patience to learn Gau's rages though... *deep sigh* ergh... |

I would have to say either Umaro and Gogo, just because they didn't have much personality. But, in terms of actual characters with personalities, hmm...most likely Strago. Aside from his excellent battle skills, he scared me. I don't know why... |

Umaro's ice problem can be solved with Edgar or Gogo using a Debilator on the enemy.
There is no worst character in FFVI; they all have goods and bads. |

| Umaro is pretty lame since you have no control over that sasquatch but I also wasn't too fond of Gau -- to me he was just plain out boring to use. |

| Realm," I shall defeat you with my mighty......PAINTBRUSH!!!", NUUUU!! Anything but the paintbrush! Apart from having the most stupid weapon in existance, she was too weak physically. Umaro was pointless, and Gogo was boring but useful...I guess Jowy is right though, they all have their good and bad moments. |

Gogo and Gau...
Gau because if you select an action he keeps imitating the same monster the whole battle....and me doesn't like that..
Gogo, the only thing he could do is mime, and i hate that...ecept..if you have a summon like KotR and W-summon, but uhm that was FF VII |

| Relm and Gau, hands down. If you actually look at the character statistics, Relm has squat. Gau has decent attack power, but that doesn't compensate for his ability Rage, which is incredibly lame and tedious to develop. You can compensate for weaknesses by Espers, but these are the worst starting characters statistically. Gogo, Umaro, and Strago are often overlooked. Strago has the second highest magic power in the game, second to Celes, and can learn all the spells without Espers, making his magic incredible powerful. Even some of his Lore is actually useful. Gogo is one of the best characters in the game, if you havn't discovered that he can have any ability and as many spells as those of the characters in your party, you should do so. His stats are all alright, but not comparable to some of the better characters like Shadow and Celes, who top the charts. Umaro isn't that great, but I'd take him over Relm or Gau always. He's almost invulnerable to spells and typically fast. He does comparable damage to some other melee characters, and is an easy filler if you don't feel like putting in someone weak like those mentioned above. There's really nothing wrong with any of the other characters, Setzer is really weak, but I usually use him anyway. It's really all a matter of how you develop them. |
