sorry, but ive been looking for the bloody bottle of cyder fo hours now, and im getting annoyed (ff6). i need it for the old man in south figaro at the start of the game... please help me before i thrown my ps2 out the window!!!

Yeah, just go up to the green bottle by the merchant in the Cafe (or the bar in the PSX version) talk to him and pick the choice that has the words "... Ill rip your lungs out!"

That part of the game was a little bit confusing at first, it'S true. It gets easy once you figure out where the heck is the cider.
