I found this site where it was talking about the Us and japan versions of FF4 and in the american one they leave out alot of character plot and stuff like going into kain and his father's dragoon days and explaining stuff doesn't that make you a little mad they don't release the same stuff here they do in Japan.

The Chronicles version is the best. Not only has the translation been improved, but it's the Hardtype version. What do you need more?

I found it more complete and appealing than its SNES counterpart.

And I belive they explain a litle bit of Kain's background. He even makes some references to his father.

Yea, Citan is right! The FF Chronicles version is way better than the SNES version in many ways!

It runs too slowly on the playstation version, and they took away and added in extra text from the original. So, still think the SNES version is THE best version. However, the jap snes version is better because it's more challenging than the American version and also allows Cecil to use the Dark Wave attack, which is pretty coo!

USA vs Japan. The final battle.

(I've always wanted 2 say that)

It sucked how they left all the good stuff out of the SNES version

When there are cases in which Japanese original version games are made and then translated over to the USA. Sometimes things are taken out, to 'make the story better'. I totally disagree with that fact, and I think it should be the same in both versions.
