In my book, FFIV is a classic. The Chronicles version is better, making the game an even more enjoyable experience. You can't go wrong with this game, unless you hate 2D games or you're a fan of PSX-only FF games.
FFIV was the first final fantasy i beat if i rember correctly so i might be a bit biased too, but i didnt thin it was bad. Its just early SNES u cant ask for much if ur lookin for gfx.
Well, you gotta think. Other than some japanese features, minor translation changes, and other settings, the game is the same as it was when it came out years ago.
Sure if your a graphics-whore, FFIV sux, but for me it's a great game. Keep in mind that i only played the Chronicles version. It has all the elements that make FF great
