i just got the yellow crystal and right after that a cutscene played where the earthgift shrine opened up. so i thought that that was the next step in progressing the story.

so i headed there.. i am not in the desert and i dont think you can actually go back once you enter the earthgift shrine. i dont have a save before it, unless i want to loose literally 3hrs of gameplay.

so ive been wandering around the desert forever. i got bored of wandering so i checked gamefaqs and its telling me that i have to get to the middle of the desert where the palms are. fine. however after that i have a choice of 4 boss fights. i guess this earthgift shrine was completely optional. i dont understand why it shows it on the cutscene...it definetly leads you to believe this is the next place to go.

well im only at level 25. do i have a chance of even winning? is there anything i can do to get outta here?

Hahaha lol, I remember that bit, You need to be Lv 33 + otherwise you'll get your ass kicked, lol Im not sure if you can get out... (ponders) Ummh unless you want to level up in the desert then fight them, or find out where you came from and go back? Hope this helps

thats pretty dumb!! there was no direction after i beat the lich to get the yellow crystal as to what the next step in the story was. why not show a cutscene for that, then show the cutscene for the earthgift shrine!

also, why is it that i just got the yellow crystal, but when i look on the menu screen, its the 2nd one in from the left. do they not go in order or did i miss getting the first one somehow?

No the earth crystal is the first one you get. To get where that next one is leave from the town that was attacked by the vampire then head west until you come to a port. If you see a river near the port head south for a little bit but keep right next to the land then you'll see another port go there and head west until you see a lake that is shaped like a crestent there is a town there. Go in and go up to the church but don't go in the church. From there go east of the church the will be a way though some trees, follow the path until you come across a group of sages, then talk to the one the is standing to the right of the one that looks different and he will give you something. I won't tell you what it is cause that takes all the fun out of an RPG. From there you'll have to find where the next crystal is but if you need to know ask me and I'll tell you k.

thanks for the relpy. i got killed fighting the 2headed dragon in the shrine and it just teleported me back out to the entrance. woohoo.

auronfan: thanks for the heads up. i found the next spot.

i finished the game on sunday. took me 15hrs 1min. !! woohoo
