FF VI was the first i plaed and also the best. THe graphics, story and music were all splendid.
FF IV was the second best and the second i played. if they were made at the same time it may have been another story but o well.
FF III is third best, mainly because i needed a gameshark to beat it
FF V is nice but nothing blew me away about it. THough it makes me happy inside because of the job system and the fact that i first played it during the summer
FF I is a fine game but it gives me a headache for some reason
FF II is also probably good, but i haven't really played through it, so it loses by default

Final Fantasy II - Nintendo Entertainment System

To be honest, the job class was one of the greatest creations in Final Fantasy history. It gave Final Fanasy so much more direction as a whole, added to the creativity of the series, and extended the gameplay by dozens of hours. In my opinion, this is the franchise title in the entire Final Fantasy series. It defines everything Square's (and now Square Enix) worked for.

Dromar I am assuming you are referring to FFIV seeing as FFII was not released in the U.S on the NES, and yes I agree with you the job system was great addition to the series made charcters more individual and useful from one another in certain situations.
