If you haven't already gotten the airship, you need to take the Levistone to the Ryukahn Desert. This desert is located south of the city of Crescent Lake. Once you get there, the airship will automatically rise from the sands.
Now that you have the airship, go shopping in Onrac and Gaia for better spells and equipment.
Afterwards, you should upgrade your characters. To do this, you must fly to the Dragon Caves and speak with Bahamut. (The Dragon Caves are located in a chain of islands that is southeast of Onrac.) Bahamut will give you a quest. You must go to the Citadel of Trials, which is northeast of the Dragon Caves. (You must land north of the castle and walk around to reach the castle.) After you open the chest containing the Rat's Tail, sit on the throne to fight the Dragon Zombies. Sit on the throne again to leave. Bring the Rat's Tail to Bahamut, and he will upgrade your classes.
Afterwards, some equipment and spells become available that you couldn't use before. It's now time to travel to Onrac and go through the Sunken Shrine. (You'll need the Oxyale to get into the shrine.) |
