I say who ever is at the highest level. besides that who has their best weapons too. I use Sabin in the Coloseum.

I have Sabin with the offering and a genji glove at level 99. Now thats unbeatable. I also had an esper equiped every level up which gave him a strength bonus of three!

The best way to level up is the dinosaur forest, if you uquip the experience egg you can get 120,00 exp in one go.

I think that Sabin is the best person as well. He has strong physical attacks, and if you but up his vigor using espers he is one tough cookie.

Yeah Sabin aint bad but why's eveyone seem to be forgetting Gogo. I know that some might think that he's a bit of a cheat but at least it means you can get rid of the 'magic' command so that you don't cast crappy spells like Imp or Osmose! The best character is a high level Gogo with Blitz, Throw and Tools commands.

On second thoughts, maybe a high level Umaro is as good, as long as he's only equipped with the Rage Ring, cos the blizzard orb is weaker. After all, it dont matter that you cant control him, cos its the colliseum.

Turining a character into an Imp and Equiping them wiht the "Imp Gear" would prolly be real good for the coloseum too.
