Help: Anthology & Original NA release

The original NA release of FF4 and FF6 (FF2 and FF3) had differences.. actually, the NA version has lack somethings that the Japanese version had.
But for the Anthology release (which I didnt play), is FF6 the same as FF3, or does it have all that the original FF6 (Jap) had. (eg. their were items in FF6 Jap, but not in FF3. Does Anthology's FF6 have items?) |

| As far as I know, the Anthology were releases of FF5 and FF6 as they appeared in Japan, but in English. The same for Chronicles and Origins, I believe. |

What about the dialogues?
I played FF6 Jap back then. There were some mature content in the dialogues like teenage pregnancy and suicide, I am not sure if they made it to FF3 here in the US. Did it? If they censored/changed those, did they "fix" it in Anthology? |

| As I said, when they released the new versions, they updated the original Japanese versions, then translated them over. While the original US versions I believe WERE censored. The translation was complete and untouched this time around, if I'm understanding Square's description of the remakes correctly. |

| They didn't update FF6's translation at all. It has everything it does in the SNES cart. |

There is one difference at least: In FFIII(NA), one of the soldiers' name in the beginning of the game is Vicks. In the FFVI re-release, his name is Biggs.
Nothing big, but that's it I think. I asked this same question on a differnet message board a few months ago and that's what they told me. |

The only difference that I have found thus far is what Link1130 has mentionned.
You probably know, however, that the PSone version of FFIV had an entirely different than its SNES counter-part. |

I want them to remake 5 and 6 again...because they stopped selling it and i never bought it *dies* i also want Final Fantasy 3 and then i'd have them all  woohoo!!!
i heard some weird crap about how some of the games were the same...*shrugs* it all confused me.

| I thought that you could not get the paladin sheild... or was it the paladin ring in FF6 (it was one of those two) for the playstation which was in the SNES release of the game. |
