Anyway, there is no information about the FFIII remake so far. It was supposed to be re-released last year on the WSC (WonderSwan color, which is an handeld console only available in Japan), but it got canned for some odd reasons. There were rumors about Square deciding to port it on the GBA instead, but they have never been proved.
A few weeks ago, the Magic-box has reported that Bandai (makers of the WSC) were trying to convince Square to release FFIII on the WSC later this year. Negociations are still going, but let's face it: Square would literraly shoot themselves in their foot if they decide to release such an essential game on a dying console.
No words about a PSone version yet. Remember that both FFI and II got remade on the WSC before jumping on the PSone, so I guess FFIII will be remade on an handheld console before being ported on the PSone as well.
I'm wondering something, though: WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY WAITING FOR?! FFIII was definitely the best RPG of the 8-bit era, surpassing Phantasy Star and Dragon Warrior III (and being closely followed by Dragon Warrior IV). |

| I do not have any information to offer as to the proof of such rumors. However, I would love to see a version of the game come to the GBA. There is no need to release it on the PS. They could pair the game up with Mystic Quest, but I am not sure that is necessary either. |

Mystic Quest?! Not that I personally hate this game, but it is not a very popular FF game, to say the least. 
I'd love to see Final Fantasy III and Secret of Mana in a collector's package, though. |

man.. dragon warrior 4 is the most legendary and like rarest rpg ever.. that would be so awsome, just make sure if they do that they show your guys in battle.. hahaha
