What about Normal Mode of Origins? Is the cap lvl. 50?
Also Exp. stops going up after the cap, otherwise you could get to level 1xx in FFVII.

I've never tried that during FFI, but I have during FFIII. Not with just one character either, at level 13 I changed my character to a White Mage and kept him like that throughout the whole game. He knew all of the white magic, but nothing else besides minimal skills.

Solo White Mage... Solo Fighter... both are very easy.

Actually, I've finished both.

A solo white mage has been finished (but not by me, I'm not that crazy) at LV31. Don't ask me how, but it involves a lot of RUSE spell usage...
