I second that. There is no need to do that for now. And besides, the items aren't THAT important.

I recommend you, however, to visit Rydia's hometown. You will find the Change rod for Tellah in her house.

Well i am now with my characters after the leviathan like summon beast. That gives you the masamune, but i can't get after him, the random encounters keep killing me. I am only lv 45 with most characters exept cain ... Btw: i have all the normal summons + odin, sylph, bahamut, ashura and leviathan. Do i need more summons ?

You stand no chance against the monsters in the Lunar Subterrane and the last boss if you're not at least level 60.

Wait, what version of the game are you playing? Is it the Easytype (SNES version) or Hardtype (PSone version)?

If you're playing the Hard version, then I recommend you to level up until you're AT LEAST LV. 70.

FFIV Hard is the name of the rom, so i think the hard one. I managed to defeat plague, those two monsters and the leviathan like. But i can't find dark bahamut and the other one that gives a bow. But i managed to get right to the end, with lv 52 characters. I was all right against zeromus for some time until he casted two big bangs after each other ...

Reading through this thread has made me realize how awesome FFVI really is. Nothing beats playing through the game (SNES version) in 12 hours and scraping by the last fight with Cecil and Rosa.

I would reccomend that you get to about level 60 at least before heading to the Lunar Subterrean. I made it through around level 50-55, but at the same token I've played through the game countless times, and it was harder than hell. The last fight took me about 6 chances before I got real lucky.

Hint: There is a hidden bridge on the floor the save point is at. Make sure to check the walls, because it is not visible.
