Hrm, it would be quite possible to implement something like that. vBulletin 3.6, the version FFR will be upgrading to soon, already has a feature that keeps track of which users are actually active (shown in the forum stats). This is (probably) determined by checking what people have made a post in the last X days, say, a month.
That, and possibly a post count for that month, would allow something like a medal of sorts to show in people's mini-profiles and such. And it would go away if they quit being active.
Should also be possible to give users like that certain extra's, like more RP per post, extra reputation power, stuff like that. |
