Portugal European Football 2004 Bet Shop
[ A ] Introduction
Welcome to the Portugal Euro Football 2004 bet shop. Where you can gamble away your hard earned RP just to make more (or less if your unlucky). You will be betting on the 16 Countries that will be participating in the European Cup which are split into 4 Groups (A.B.C.D).

Portugal
Russia
Spain
Group B
Croatia
England
Switzerland
France
Group C
Bulgaria
Denmark
Italy
Sweden
Group D
Czech Republic
Germany
Latvia
Netherlands
Each team will play the teams in their group once, and two in each group will qualify to the Quarter Finals, then Semi … and so on.
[ B ] Rules/Examples
1) First look up the odds page, and select the game you are betting on.
2) Next is to post on this thread, and post on the match, who is going to win, and how much you intend to bet
3) You send your RP to ME (Don’t worry im been moderated by staff members (Turks and BlitzBaller mostly so I wont do a runner with your money!) I will confirm the payment and post it on the thread.
4) The money will be posted to TURKS (hes the treasurer also he will pay the winnings)
5) The day when the match starts. I will post the results on the Odds page. If you’ve won? Turks will send you the money prior to what bet you’ve made plus the money you placed when you made the bet. If you lose? Turks gets to keep your hard earned RP.
First time players will receive an automatic 100RP on any bet they wish. They can add to the that money if they want (you wont get the money up front. Also You may make as many bets as you want. So long as you have the RP!
========== Example of betting ==========
France vs England
France to Win 100RP/500RP (Player puts in 500RP. If win. 100RP won + 500 RP bet money)
Draw Even (Player puts in 600RP. If win. 600RP won + 600 RP bet money)
England to Win 700RP/200RP (Player puts in 200RP. If win. 700RP won + 200 RP bet money)
Basically France are odd on favourites to win. England is the under-dog. That’s why the bets/winnings are different.
Note: If you want England to win. Current Bet is 200RP. Double the bet to 400RP. Then you can double your winnings to 1400RP etc. (Can be done with all odds. Except Evens, in Evens whatever money you put in is whatever money you win.)

There is no need for betting, Latvia is so gonna pwn you all.

I'm betting for Latvia (oh, I'm so gonna loose), I'll send you 50 RP, plus throw in my first 100 RP for this bet, making it a total 150 =)

Excue my being a bit dim, but I'm quite new here and I still haven't really figured out this RP thing.

Does this mean I can bet 100RP even though I currently have 0 (to my knowledge)?
If it does then I'll have a nice crisp 100 on Portugal to beat Greece. Not very daring, I know, but I wouldn't want to blow it all straight away. That match is 100/200, so if I bet 100 does that mean I would net 150 back if the result went my way? |

Nope 200RP is the starting bet. If you win. You would net yourself 100RP. I know its a bit confusing but blame the dude that invented betting

My bet on Portugal - Greece, on the beautifull F.C.Porto's stadium, Estádio do Dragăo (Dragon Stadium) i might add, is 1-1.
My predictions for the rest of the games depend on the outcome of this one. |
