Ok if the contest is delayed does that mean I can post poetry?
well just in case:
Torn By You
An unforseen journey,
Uncontrolable yearning.
I tumble down toward a faint possibility,
For it bares a wait of bitter eternity.
A familiar melody,
Faintly visible memory.
It hails me back to a cold December,
Beyond which, I'd loath to remember.
This is the choice I've made at last.
Life's short lengths of memories passed.
Push me, pull me, torn in two,
By pain and fear, caused by you.
A strange but familiar sensation,
Mind's express to destination.
Unbearable drive down life's short road,
Stears me toward the shivering cold.
A meaningless understanding,
Unheeded man's demanding.
Ignorance is one of life's virtues,
To the Grand Plan, for it's giving clues.
I've fallen further down this whole,
Linking me closer to my soul.
Push me, pull me, torn in two,
By pain and fear, caused by you. |

any idea when the results will be announced? i don't think we should have set times for contests just whenever it is convenient for the judges. good luck everybody  |

Okay. I really really apologize for not meeting my OWN deadline on this. But it seems some of the judges have been a little busy and can't get their results in. So here is the deal. I will wait a few more hours for their PMs and if I do not recieve them, I will judge the contest myself. Once again, I apologize for the delay.
Also, your entry will be allowed stewmac.
EDIT: Okay everybody. I have waited long enough for the PMs to come in and they have not come. But nevertheless, I bring you the long awaited results of the contest. Please understand that although it may be a cliche, I truly wish you all copuld have one. There was not a single poem that didn't impress me. You all have tremendous talent and it is great entries such as these that make me think more frequent contests is a good idea. I hope to spur your abilities and help you to grow, along with teach me much on how to improve our poetry. Anyways, these are the choices I have come up with. Please, I would appreciate no bitter feelings on this and if you believe the contest was judged unfairly, PM with your complaints. I'm always willing to listen.

Hmm, though you all did great in my honest oppinion. There'll be more contests to participate in, keep up the work...
