Show After The Show:
FFGnome: WOW! What a great show, and thanks to all who voted. There were some surprises and some that everyone knew was going to take the Statue home. Too bad this Video-Game Award Show was the first for FFR, because now only the Best RPG category has an actual award! Next time we will have awards for every category. Right now this is what Sephiroth got made over back stage:
WOW "Said Name" your so cool! You Won "Said Category". Nice job! Come again next time!
Well... We can all see how he got mad and went storming off over getting such a lame award... But the point was he WON... I guess he's just not a fun guy. He won "Best Villain" aswell, So I don't know why I'm surprised....

Seen Backstage:
Black Dragoon was seen scarring little children, and he was warned by Rainecloud. FFGnome was on stage the whole time hosting the show. Vincent went outside after not seeing any "Best Badass" cateogory. All the Cid's met each-other in the same room and decided to play the best game of poker ever!
KuraFire was found pimping images, and was fined 300 RP by Isaac. Element WRX was scalping tickets top to the show, nothing happend to him though, because he's the "Uber-Mod"....
Great Sephiroth was shot on site, of trying to come back. Quina ate all the pizza, and Black Dragoon was very sad after that. Vivi surprise everyone by performing his dance on stage, after Sephiroth made a big scene about his award, and there was a deley. Tidus and Yuna were seen fighting over something after FF8 won best kiss.
For some reason the cast of 8-Bit Theater decided to come and watch the show... Maybe because FFGnome is such a fan. /\, /\ Black Mage was threatening to use his Nuke spell, but Fighter told everyone that they didn't need to worry because he had already used it, and since you can only use Nuke once a day, this made Black Mage very angry. He quickly was Temp-banned by Afterlab because he was stabbing Fighter. Fighter didn't care because he has such spiffy armor.

FFGnome: Well, that's it everyone. I assure you a bigger and better show will be here next time. The producers of the show got cheap and I didn't get to do as much as I wanted. But now with all the press this has gotten, and all your votes, I'm sure it'll be bigger and better next time!

Well... There you have it. I decided to do the Runners UP differently. I came up with that by adding together total awards. Just like THE BIG KAHUNA, just they has less votes.
Hope you all had fun, and I'd like to see you thoughts on the project. I will save the code for this, so I can make it next time easier. I would also like to know if you wanna see this again in the future, if so, how often should I makle one of these, and if you want, tell me new categories to add to it.
I want all the feedback, so next time it can be even better, and we'll see if more people vote. I also wonder if this can be something that Afterlab will let me make an "Official" thing. So that I can make one every once in awhile like the Repubbies. And have it be based around different topics.
So, if you guys tell me you want another one of these around some time, then what should it be based on? Should it be "Best RPG"? Or what? Would you like the Awards to be "Best First Person Shooter" and all the categories will be about FPS games?
YOU TELL ME. Whatever you guys want in the next one, if you want another one at all, I will make one. Also, if anyone would help me out on the creation on the next one, that would be nice. I would like help setting up categories and counting votes for the next one. Also, anyone who wants to help, can also make commentary to put in the "Show After The Show" spot. They can write up something, play a character or celebrity.
Next time I will have images for every award. I wanted to make an image for every award this time, but I didn't have enough time, because I got the idea to do it today.  So, I made one award image for Best RPG, and that was it. That is another way someone might wanna help me with the next one. If you are pretty good at making images, then make a Best RPG award, then show it to me, and it I like it then you can be the one who gets the credit and whatever RP I can give you or have someone sponser RP for me.

Actually, everyone was there.
But you see, I could only make remarks about a few people. I had 9997 characters used up after my 20th edit! LOL! So, I didn't have room to include alot of people. Sorry. (The char limit is 10,000)
So, it was just like the Oscars, and just in time too. Everyone who would have attended was there... With the exception of the cast of 8-Bit Theater... Apparently they got tickets from Element!  He was scalping tickets remember?

I got up today, and was walking around... Then it hit me... I WAS SUPPOSE TO STAY UP 'TIL MIDNIGHT AND COUNT VOTES!
... XD So, I was rushed to count, and post. I also should have been thinking and writing all the other stuff that comes after the votes, before today. That's why the jokes are lame, and the commentary un-good! lol. The formatting was also rushed so...It has problems and is a little hard to read in some places. I also made a few mistake and some tags are open.
I will fix the small mistakes for now. Next time, the awards will be make in HTML, and I will link you to a page with the Awards on it. That way I can have multiple pages, and loose the restrictions of the forums. I think that will be MUCH MUCH better. |
