| Episode I was gaysauce. I wouldn't be surprised if the second one is too. They only end up showing the good scenes in trailers. To quote Steven Colbert, "There should be no movies, only trailers". |

I pity the small minds of the Star Wars uninitiated.  I personally loved Episode I, but that's because I knew the every crack of the universe before hand. I still think Qui-Gon is the greatest Jedi to have graced the galaxy with his existance.
Although what you say is often true, I think the idea should be slightly altered to mean that only good scenes make it into trailers. After all, some of the best scenes of the movie aren't included in the trailer, simply because a trailer can't build up and sustain a weaving of reality and a conflux of pathos like a movie can. Take, for example, the scene at the end of BladeRunner, if you will, as a perfect example. |

| They include the best scenes into the trailer to play a mind game with you. You think since the trailer is short, you're only seeing a small portion of the good stuff, when in reality they're showing you the good stuff. |
