| It's ok. Some of it's great, a large quantity of it is ****, but I find it's the same with any style of music really. |

| Most of it is hateful or meaningless like most pop songs about love. They either sing it so that it's incomprehensible, and I would have to look up the lyrics (and you can be guaranteed that I wouldn't do it if I even hear the word "love" in it), or it's shallow, cliched, stupid and hackneyed to death. I have heard very few lyric songs that catch my attention. Even fewer of them are from rap. |

| Old stuff is good. I like some NWA, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, etc. Though 99% of all new **** is unbearable to listen to. |

| I don't think anyone can make a sweeping generalisation about rap. Most of the crap in the top 100 is **** on a stick, but there's some hip hop music that I really love. Top 100 stuff is usually just the cookie cutter junk, these days you could probably just use about five different basic templates to create 90% of the hip hop on the radio. I really love stuff like MIA and Dizzee Rascal though, the more weird and innovative the better. European hip hop is way better than the American stuff these days. |

I'd replace the word great with 'listenable', and replace the word '****' with 'ear raking pile of ****e'. xD I can cope to listen to one or two songs, but it really annoys me when I see rap artists famous for producing a sing-a-long. Not much talent involved, really. |

The thing is the crap you here on TV is horrible. Horible. Just like the rock you see on TV is horrible. And I use the term lightly. Seriously, the stuff you see on TV is like the Fall Out Boys of rap. |

Some of it is amazing, some of it is horrendous.
Oh wait, that goes for every other bloody music genre.
Gorillaz, MF Doom, Dr. Octagon, Deltron 3030, Outkast, and k-os are all pretty pretty damned good. |

Yeah, what I did was a spelling mistake. It's not my fault it came out as morons instead of mormons.
