For anyone who has heard this, discuss.

I have to say, "Skip Divided" is my favorite so far. The "Hey, hey" parts drags me into the song everytime. It's amazing. This album has SUCH mood. It is to Hail to the Thief what Amnesiac is to Kid A, in a way.

It's really sexy stuff. Like I've said before, the songs still sound really layered even with the lack of the rest of the band. I approve.

I haven't really been listening to the live tracks for their new album (I keep forgetting), so are they continuing with the Hail to the Thief-style sound or what?

Their new songs go between Bends-esque piano / guitar ballad-like songs to just high energy rockouts, which are done differently than stuff they've done before.

That's not any real indication as to what they'll sound like on the album though, since sometimes they change tracks completely between playing them live and recording them in the studio. (See: Like Spinning Plates et al.)

Yeah I'm pretty sure they're going back to guitars now. That's why Thom made his solo album. His solo stuff will be the electronica and Radiohead will be the rock.
