I watched today's Oprah with Elie Weisel and was moved so I went and bought the book Night, about his time in Auschwitz. I haven't started it yet, but just curious if anyone's read any of Oprah's book club books?

I liked A Million Little Pieces, whether James Frey was a fraud or not, it was a good book.

I read a few of her older ones as well, but I never read the Faulkner ones.

Yeah i saw that one to but it was the next day (DVR ) It was really amazing the things that they had there, like the hair shoes and cans of Zyclone B. I have most of Elie Weisels book and love them to death.

I didn't read it because of Oprah, but I bought Night yesterday and finished it this morning. I don't believe I've read any others from her book club, though.

I read Night years ago, and I started reading the second book (forgot the title), but I never finished it. I liked Elie Weisel and his personal account. Good man.

I didn't like that book.
If I had written an essay, I would have been at that taping.

I had to read the book in 6th or 7th grade. It wasn't that good, but we had to learn about Jews somehow.
