Probably the best Speed Metal band ever, Slayer is one of my favorites.

My favorite all-time song is War Ensemble.

Who likes Slayer?

I've gotta say that I feel they're quite overrated in certain areas; I definitely don't think they make some of the greatest or most memorable guitar soloes in the World, for example. However, I do enjoy their music occasionally, albeit I don't really like doing so for more than an hour, as the flow of their tracks sometimes gets a bit too onesided and monotone for my taste, like Motörhead. Still a good band, though. "War Ensemble" and "God Sent Death" are probably my two current favourites from 'em.

Dead Skin Mask is a ****ing badass song.

My other favorites after buying their Seasons in the Abyss album are Spirit in Black, Temptation, Expendable Youth, Seasons in the Abyss, and Hallowed Point.

I might get Reign in Blood soon.

I have Reign in Blood, which is a ****ing fantastic album, and Diabolus in Musica, which never really made much of an impression on me. Definitely one of the more affecting metal bands out there, although a lot of their stuff is quite disturbing.

I only have "God Hates Us All" and I love it. I should download the other CDs someday.

I need to get Reign in Blood... doesn't it have the song "Angel of Death" on it?

And yes, I agree, a lot of their stuff is disturbing.. Tom Araya puts a lot of rage into his lyrics.

Yeah, it has "Angel of Death," which is prettymuch essential listening for any fan of death metal. I think the most amazing tracks on the record are "Postmortem" and "Raining Blood" though; I've yet to encounter any other pieces that build to such staggering, menacing effect.

I find their solos to be incredible; they actually sound like the screams of the damned.

To add to what I listed above, South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss are absolutely essential records.
