Last night i was looking at my DVDs, and then looked to see "Gladiator", so yeah i slammed it on. And by god, this used to be my ex-favourite movie, but i've not watched it for absolutely ages and kinda forgot how good it really was. I loved it, i bloody loved it!

Contains Spoilers
The storyline was excellant although i still remembered it being fabulous, the ending with the death of Maximus after he killed the emperor was amazing. To be honest, i was seriously about to cry. Yes, a 15 year old kid crying over a movie, but hell, it really got to me for some reason, very touching. I managed to withstand crying though. The acting is great, damn good job the Crowe did, and the special features bonus CD owned.

So, i'm sure many of you will have not watched Gladiator for awhile, and i mean come on, we've all watched it before. But yes, i suggest you watch Gladiator, then you'll realise it was stupid putting your favourite movie as LOTR or The Last Samurai. It's absolutely excellant. By god, ownaaage! I'm going to watch it again tonight.

i love Gladiator so much. i watched it just a couple weeks ago when i was sick. i ask to watch it everyday in Psychology (kinda a joke), but yes, it is masterful. I love it. perfect story of revenge, democracy, war, family, trust, and betrayal. and meanwhile, it doesn't have any uncessisary kissy **** or anything. just an all around good movie. (probably why Black Hawk Down is also so good).

It just happens I watched Gladiator on sunday, having bought the 2 disc DVD of it on Friday. It's an excellent film. I first saw it at the cinema in 2000, and it's probably been in my personal top 5 ever since. The fight scenes are superb, and the dialogue consistantly absorbing. The special features are good value too.

Yes, it's lovely movie. Depressing, though, but it makes you think. Was sports really that important to the Romans, almost as they are to us?

I let out a few tears to that ending, actually. Very touching. I loved every minute of it.

Meh, it was OK. It's really good as far as live action movies go though.

Gladiator is definitely one of my favorite movies. Just the plotline, the characters, the action footage.. *sigh* And Russell Crowe ish so.. yummy.

I definitely have to watch it again, as it's been quite a while since I've last seen it.
