At the moment I'm reading because I have to, and so my books arent very interesting -

Java software solutions: foundations of program design - by Lewis and Loftus

Web Programming: Building Internet Applications - by Chris Bates

These are both part of my revision for my 2 exams on wednesday and thursday, which are on Systems Development, and Introduction to Program Development.

The Great Hunt, Robert Jordan. Apparently, the Wheel of Time series is the ****.

I'm going to have to agree . Only a few chapters left though, I need to go and get the next part.

At the moment I'm reading H.Murakami's "Sputnik Sweetheart". I quite like this book although I haven't read a chapter in 2 weeks. I always get the weirdest, craziest dreams when reading Murakami, so if I'm up to it I always read a chapter before bed ;D

Wheel of Time is bordering on brilliant for the first six books, then there's a notable drop in quality for books seven through ten (although book nine does have a fantastic ending). Book eleven picks up the pace again though.

Still reading Erikson. I'm going to be at this book for a long time.

Dude those are like, three of the best books ever. Especially Ender's Game and A Game of Thrones.
Yeah, they really all are amazing. I'm not too far into A Game of Thrones yet, but I can tell it's going to have quite a bit of political intrigue in it, and that's the stuff I love. That's why I found the sequels of Ender's Shadow to be so great.

I read the sequels to Shadow until Shadow Puppets, I think. I should probably pick up on the series again, but enough time has already passed for me to have forgotten it all.

The Amulet of Samarkand, though it's been several weeks since I read more than a couple of pages. Once my school scheduele clears up a bit I'll start reading it from the beginning again, as some details have definitely been lost on me because of me constantly taking breaks between reads.

Meanwhile, I just got Mick Foley's "Have a Nice Day" from my library, so I'll probably dedicate my next couple of weekends to reading that.

I just recently finished reading the novel Battle Royale (the one the movie was based off of) and yes, it is better than the movie.

I've just started reading The Dante Club, by Matthew Pearl. It's set in 19th century Boston about the first translation of the Divine Comedy into English, the forces that want to prevent the translations and a spat of murders based off the punishments in the Inferno that are occurring. Hell, its got murders, Dante and the 19th century in it, I'm loving it already.
