"I'll just line up and make some plays and make things happen,'' -Jevon

"It bothered me little bit at first, just hearing or reading about it,'' Kearse said of the concerns over his injuries. "My coaches and peers know I'm not injury prone. I just had two very unfortunate injuries that happened really, really close together.

"But now I'm ready to prove everyone wrong, that I'm not a big risk.''
This is so stupid. Jevon Kearse left the titans because of eddy george. The team was losing too many chances at the superbowl so Kearse bailed.
I know most of you here at FFR aren't Ttan Fans but We weren't all that bad this year and now we have "The Freak" as he is known leaving the titans to join the eagles.... so hard to find a good football player these days...

Yeah that sucks. I always root for the Titans and all, and now they lost there best Defensive person. They also lost their chance on getting T.O.

How did Kearse leave because of Eddie George? Anyways, Jevon Kearse was a premiere defensive end a few seasons ago before the injures. And I do think he will regain his form and become a dominant force again. The Titans lost a HUGE piece in thier #1 rush defense. The only thing I don't agree is his contract, the Eagles overpaided for him in IMO.

Very nice pick-up for the Eagles. Huge blow to the Titans.

After 2001 Eddy George Sucked! because oh him causing the Titans game after game. Everyone got sick of him. Jevon Kearse was close friends with George but saying in an interview "Eddy is a friend of mine but I feel he holds our team back." And the Coach himself stated that Eddy was attending Practice but not participating as much as the other players.

Well, Eddie George might not be as good as he was a few years ago, but he's still a work horse. He's exactly like Jevon Kearse, not an superstar anymore, but still a very good solid player.
