What instruments do you peoples play?

Is there a thread already on this topic. Probably is. I'm not sure if this goes in here or not, so move it or close it or whatever and if you could, please direct me to the thread that has this.
So, as the title says, what instruments do you play?
I play piano. At first I played violin, but I hated it. It was uncomfortable, I didn't have fun playing, and why does it seem you either suck or you are incredibly good? Well, I was ok... I guess. So my parents made me play the piano. My mom taught me for a long time, but with her I wasn't really getting anywhere, so I got a new music teacher. Unfortunately, after 2 years with her I realized she was a horrible teacher and I wasn't progressing at all, so then I went to this Russian dude, and I've gotten a lot better since then.
I also play guitar. I played guitar for a while in 5th grade, but it was kind of boring for me and I quit. I just started again about 6 months ago, and now I love it! Me and Saraneth are going to make a band! Heh heh.
I got a drum set not too long ago, but I haven't put it together much or tuned it. Being the lazy little midget that I am *shrugs* |

| I played clarinet in middle school, once upon a time, until I discovered that my skinny little 11-year-old fingers couldn't cover the holes in the blasted thing, so I switched to flute. I played that for a couple of years, determined that I both hated band and was tone-deaf, so after that I dropped the music thing entirely. |

| I personaly play the trumpet, though not very well. I can't read music and i dont know the fingerings for the notes but I was told that i hit a double high C sharp. Aparently impossible for peope who have played less then 5 years. I've only been playing for about 2 |

I played drums in middle school but found it boring fast, I don't really like doing rythym all the time. I then switched to guitar and have been playing for a while, though sometimes I don't do tabs of popular music, instead I am better at playing by ear and mixing my own chords.
I just started playing piano/keyboard a few weeks ago, it has some concepts not to different from guitar really. And I don't really know how to read sheet music all that well, I go more by ear. |

Let's see... I've done Euphonium (or, as other people know it, baritone), trumpet, trombone (as long as it has three valves), and a bit of Piano.
I was playing brass instruments for as long as I can remember in school. (About grade 6, which was 8 years ago). I haven't really done any of that since I graduated, but I highly miss it and would pick it up again in a heartbeat.
As for piano, I suck at piano. I can't get my left and right to co-operate against each other and it's tough when it comes to reading chords and such. I just can't read two different clefts at the same time. (I'm accustomed to the bass clef, since I play a lot of low instruments.)
I've always had a god-given talent for playing music, too. |

I play the alto sax and piano.
I was in band for 5 years but dropped out this year (i hate the band teacher). I played alto sax then. My middle school teacher was the one who got me into band and kept me interested for so long. she was so passionate about her work. she even lost her voice yelling at us, trying to teach us how to play. we were the first middle school band in the history of Golden Empire (a competition) to get a Triple Superior Plus (and believe me, that's some good ****).
I had been playing piano since 5th grade, but my parents just recently sold our piano *cries* so no more. they just...sold it...didn't even ask me. it was MINE!!! argh! |

I play the guitar and drums... I was also in a band that played around nashville and murfesboro. (mainly alternative with some rock) I first learned to play the guitar when I was 14 then I generaly got the hang of it (the first 2 weeks of playing were hell) Mainly because of the caluses I got.

| I play the piano and the keyboard (they might require the same skills, but playing one is really quite different from playing the other). I used to actually take lessons, but I haven't done that for awhile. I generally improvise my stuff; I practice songs I really want to play well though. |
