| Well, I'm sure most of you have heard about this controversial film written and directed by Mel Gibson. I haven't had the chance to see it yet, but from what I've heard...it's a mess. One reviewer said it was more like "The Jesus Christ Chainsaw Massacre". I was wondering if anybody had seen it. |

It has caused a huge reaction from christians and Jews, but I have not seen it yet, I intend to, to see what all the fuss is about.
The film is violent because it is trying to portary the suffering Jesus endured, or so they say, besides its hard to tell such a story without the voilence that obviously was a part of it.
Religious films are hard to do without upsetting someone anyway. |

I haven't seen it yet, it's downloading right now.
But what I don't like is that some people are trying to pass this movie as historical. It's just a hollywood movie. Get over it.

If they're really that faithful, a simple site isn't gonna destroy their faith. ;p
I haven't seen it yet either, but I plan to, just to see what all the fuss is about. I think I'll wait a few weeks, though...the churches around here have been taking groups of people to see it. o_O I'd rather wait until that dies down. |

| I've heard that it's good but very gory so if you like gore you'll probably like this one. |

if it has to do with religion, then people are going to make a big deal. i already know what the fuss is about, its about the jews killing jesus, and "it makes the jews look bad!"
i want to see it, it looks interesting to me, and i like gory movies.
its not like i dont allready know whats going to happen at the end so im not in a huge hurry to see it. |

| Not only do I not want to see it because of my own beliefs, but because it's just so violent. Yes, this is coming from someone who loves Kill Bill. But, that was comical violence. This is realistic **** they're showing, here. I saw some clips of the film during an interview with Mr. Gibson, and I can tell that it's just not my kind of movie at all. Sadly enough, my family actually wants me to see this movie. I'll catch (rent) it on DVD. Maybe. |

I will it see it since everyone is making such a big fuss about. If the movie wasn't religious then there wouldn't be a massive number of discussion about this movie. I respect Mel Gibson for making a movie that is based on his own belief and he has had to put up with alota steam from religious activist, media groups and evil talk show host like Regis and Diane Sawyer.
From what I heard its not that anti-semantic. |
