Has everyone forgotten the B-Movies?...you know...the bad awful ass low-budget movies that are awesmo just because they are that way...they are mostly horror movies, but are fun to watch and laugh at because of their downfalls in acting and such...if you have a favorite B-Movie/B-Movies...put them here...and you can also discuss why you like them...
I love the Evil Dead series...except for the third one...in the first one a girl gets raped by trees and the acting and effects are terrible...in the second one they try to piece the story together by doing a flash back of only Ash and his girlfriend going to the cabin...but in the original first movie it was Ash and his girlfriend plus his sister and his friend and his friend's g/f...then the acting is still horrible...lol |

Cannibal Holocaust
Last House on the Left
House of 1000 Corpses
Three very good, not well known horror movies.
And on a Lesser note;
Childs Play (1-3)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre |

if theyre good movies, then theyre not really considerd B-Movies anymore.
B-movies are called B-movies because they suck and are low budget. |

Ah, they may not suck, but their pretty low in budget, which is in a way a B-Movie. xD
Dunno about House of 1000 Corpses and Childs Play on budget though, although I think the first one was a low budget. |

| Yeah well I have seen really good B-movies even though they are uh....suppose to be bad. Evil Dead, George Romero's "Dead" series, Toxic Avenger, Cannibal Holocaust, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. "B" movies are notoriously bad with bad acting and special effects but thats why I sometimes like them, it's almost as if the creators didn't put a whole lotta effort and the ending results are mindless and fun. |

When I think of B-movies I think of Zombies, Aliens and Giant Mutant Lizards (Godzilla, in effect.)
And whilst I don't watch nearly as many as I would like to, I still love the whole B-movie sphere to death. It's the whole way it looks like they just did it for the fun of it.
Will (Or are) we see a revival of the B-movie? Now I can't really think of many from after the 80's, but Eight Legged Freaks and Evolution, whilst having high production values, both kinda seem like they should be classed as B-movies to me. And of course, Mars Attacks is the best B-but-not-movie ever. Ever. |
