| Does anyone here listen to ska?...I've only heard a few ska bands and I think they sound great...one of the main bands I have heard was Cake...I think they are awesome...if you listen to ska plz name some third wave ska bands...I like those the best... |

I didnt know cake was ska.
i think when most people think ska they think voodoo grow skulls, mustrage plug, strait gimp, or whatever.
to tell the truth i cant stand it. I dont hate ska, but it annoys me a way like nothing else.
i have a few friend that like it, but other then the stuff i hear from them, i dont know much about it. i do like the voodoo grow skulls in small doses. |

| I like some songs from Cake, but I don't really listen to ska because I don't hear much of it, but when No Doubt was still ska, they had some good songs too. |

| I've always had a thing for ska, though I never really got into as much as I would have liked to. A few bands that I thought were pretty good are: Voodoo Glow Skulls, Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies, and others. Generally, I don't really prefer one band to another, since most of the time, I only hear about 1 good song, ever once in a while. |

| I don't listen to a lot of ska, but when I do it's usually Goldfinger or Cake (if that's really considered ska.) I don't really like the trumpets and stuff... |

| I never really classed Cake as SKA, i dont think that they use excessivce use of trombones and trumpets which would make them a SKA band, but if you want a farily good third wave SKA band then look into "The Aquabats" Good **** there. |
