This is a rockers thread.. No emo-punk or emo-core.. or poop rock.. I'm talking about the hard stuff.. and the good stuff. the stuff you listen to and wake up the next day with a stiff neck.. that's right.. It's back..
We'll talk about our favorite Rock bands.. and comment about others.. and if you want.. even make fun of poor music.. Yup it's your forum now..

| i really like pearl jam and megadeth, they're both awesome. i also like ozzy a lot too. there's a lotta newer rock i like too like rob zombie and powerman 5000. pearl jam's newer stuff though isn't the same as the old, its not as fast. its a lotta slower songs imho. but its still pretty good. |

Erm, rock? Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth... as being rock? Well, I know for sure those three are anything but, and most definately metal. How you can call them "Rock," I don't know.
I've always had in my mind for the idea of Rock more things like Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, and Oasis etc. etc. *Shrugs* =\ |

yeah but that stuff kicks ass too.. except for that oasis bull****..
I call most of the new heavy stuff rock.. like system of the down disturbed.. it's just my generalization.. I catigorize in two groups.. Things that Rock.. and things that don't..
and how can I forget Ozzy.. He's the most legendary Metal icon every.. his stuff rocks.. Rocks like there's no nerves in your neck to feel the pain after you listen to his music all night.. or something like that.. |

Tool, System of a Down, Dream Theater, Disturbed, Staind, Paradise Lost, Nightwish and a heck of a lot more...
I am unaware as of which one of those are rock and which oens are metal, but I like 'em all equally... Well, almost... :-/ |

| yea alot of the bands i said are metal but i consider rock and roll a larger scale catagory. i mean rock to be alot less specific and a more generalized catagory. but technicaly alot of those bands are metal. so to keep this discussion going what are some of your favorite rock/metal songs? i'll post mine later. |
