My favourite songs are: Lying Awake, Made of Steel, Somewhere Out There, One Man Army, Not Enough, the list will go on forever. Who else loves this awsome band, post your favourite songs, CDs, etc in here ^^ |

Heheh, didn't think anyone really paid much attention to Canadian music Our Lady Peace has been my fav band forever. I love every one of their CD's to date (with the exception of a few songs of course). My favorite song has to be 4 A.M. off the Clumsy album which coincidentally is my favorite album.
Hey did you ever see them on that "Gonna Meet a Rockstar" show on Much Music a long time ago? |

| I say the "Gonna Meet A Rockstar" thingy with Our Lady Peace. That guy was pretty lucky to meet them. My favourite OLP song is Clumsy. |

Has anyone ever heard any of Raines wifes songs? I downloaded this song called Time by her, and it's not half bad. Raines wifes name is Chantal Kreviazuk. [sp?]
My favourite album is definatly Happiness, which sounds bad, but there are so may beautiful songs on it. The good thing about OLP is that there are so many different styles to listen to, so if you get bored of rock (Gravity), you can go back to some soft (Clumsy) and be happy ^^ |

Well I wouldn't necessarily say that Clumsy was soft. Naveed was in my opinion their hardest record, and Spiritual Machines was definately a change of pace. You're right though in saying that it's difficult to be bored with them because each record was so diverse.
Chantel is good, I like some of her music but have never bought an album. I really like Time and the Leaving on a Jetplane cover she did. Before You was also a great tune. |

Woah woah woah... There's no way I can let you get away with a statement like that :P
-The Tragically Hip: The biggest of all Canadian bands with a unique sound that nobody can duplicate.
-I Mother Earth (back in the day): were amazing, and are still pretty good today.
-Sum41: Although not the longest standing, Americans seem to love them as much as we do.
-Barenaked Ladies: Huge huge huge for a while, moreso in the States than even here in Canada!
There are so many more that I could talk about, I just don't have the time cause I'm at work I just hope you see that our music talent pool is not as shallow as you think. |

ok Tragically hip, two good songs, got annoying after a while,
I mother Earth? good? if you say so.
Sum 41 is the worst band ever, and the barnaked ladies are second, but lets look at some other bands,
Gob,
Avil Lavin(sp?),
nickle back, wait this is the worst band ever,
simple plan,
brain Adams,
i had a list but ill spare you, its just whenever i hear a song i think is crap i find out that its from a canadain band, i live in detroit, which is on the canadain bourder, every sunday the local radio station plays songs from only canadain bands, and they allways suck, allways |

| I think that their version of that song was quite good. I like listening to their remixed songs, such as Imagine, and TNATDD. |
