I dont consider them cartoons, because i think cartoons, are thos kiddy shows, like, flinstones, and powerpuff girls,

And i think Anime, is more for, like, teens, and adults, I think cartoons and anime, should be a different, thing. in different catagorys, and stuff. o_o

Anime are like intelligient shows, unlike the flinstones....

You usually won't see a little 5 year old watching anime thus they aren't smart enough to understand it!
Anime is like another world not only to anime lovers but to anybody that watches it.

Anime is not Cartoons.

Id like to look at it as Anime made in Japan (even though not all are) and Cartoons made in Japan and other countries.Wel thats how i see it.

The definition of anime is this:

": a style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes"

Cartoons are basically animation as well. So, technically, I consider them cartoons.

Dude...the Flintstones rule. I think anime is a type of cartoon, therefore I think it's a cartoon.

Umm yeah I consider them cartoons but the best cartoons ever.I mean the art work is usally great and well its great I love anime so there.

Plus, shows like King of the Hill and The Simpsons have more adult themes...and are still considered cartoons. Just because anime is Japanese doesn't mean it's above the rest of the cartoons in the world.
