so i don't know where you folks live, but is there any cool local music?
i'm in dallas texas and it seems like there has been a ton of great music here lately:
eisley
south FM
the chemistry set
lift to experience
radiant*
flickerstick
far star (my band....selfless promo!)
the southern sea
centro-matic
the angelus
red animal war
the flying machine
robot brown
pleasant grove
el gato
anyway... most of it's simply amazing music... i love going to live shows...

no, i just dont really care for my local scene, i mean its cool and all the bands i play with are cool and im friends with them all but they all sound the same, and what that is is a bad saves the day ripoff. Theres only one other good band and they still sound like saves the day. i dont even like saves the day!

I live in New Baltimore, Michigan. I love the local scene, I'm usually at a show atleast once a week. It's punk music...

yeah, there are some great clubs here in dallas for pretty much every kind of music...
my band played at the HardRock Cafe last night... the sound wasn't all that great, but it was still pretty fun
