Well, I saw no subject on the movie of the year, 2001. So, what did everyone think of it? I personally loved it! I wasn't too fond of the books, but the movie was great. I can't wait for the other two to come out.

I've never read the books, or seen the movie, and I don't plan on doing so.

Agreed much so. If you like reading those 500 page books for fun, well then, there's something wrong with you.

I am sure you have your reasons, but I'm curious as to why you don't want to see it.

I don't want to see it because it seems to--well.. "nerdish". It seems to me something like a Harry Potter. I remember back whenever I was younger, kids used to be into stuff like "ogres, merlins" and all that jazz. That stuff is what I think of that movie/series. It seems like it's more for those who have a more imaginative kind of taste.

Well, I watched it because I like Fantasy things. *shrugs* I never wanted to see Harry Potter though.

That's fine. I also wanted to say, that my last response was not against you in any way. I think you are cool and all.. You're entitled to your own likes and dislikes. Me, Sanosuke, and Buzz Beer just happen to not like it.

Don't worry, I took no offence by it, and I know you are entitled to your oppinion. But when I was a kid my dad would read the books to me and I fell asleep cause they were so boring. Over half of the book is nothing but description. Really boring. Makes me wonder why Kari's reading it..she hates long books. *shrugs*

You sure shrug a lot ; from people who've seen it I heard that it blew pretty hard, and that the ending was horrid (they were aware it's a triliogy....... but they still didn't like it).

Accually, the movie wasn't supposed to end there, it went a little into the Two Towers, but yeah, the ending was stupid.
