Well I've been to quite a few live gigs, they are pretty much my life..
anyways the most cramped I have ever been was in this place called "Coney Island High", which used to be in East Greenwich, NYC.. I don't know if the place still does underground stuff.. anyways It was a bouncing souls gig, and to tell you the truth they don't fit in the club.. Not that there is anything wrong with there music.. they just attract too big of a crowd for a small club about the size of probably one of your classrooms.. anyways they packed us in there like sardines, and it was friggin hilarious.. you were litterally stuck in that place, there were so many people there you couldn't move, you couldn't even squeeze by two people cause everyone was packet against each other.. and then the music started...this was friggin hilarious.. I saw more guys get punched in the face by girls then a high school dance.. This was by far one of the craziest and fun concerts I've been to.
well, anyways that place had fire hazzard written all over it, so I wouldn't be surprised if they closed it down..
anyways I've been to a lot of big concerts, and my favorite would definitle have to have been "NIN" for their fragile tour, I saw them once in NYC, and then two days later in boston, ...oh wait that was boston then NY.. anyways they has the best visual performance, and a helofa large pit. Trent Rezner is a friggin genious..
oh wait I'm not done yet..
concerts like dream theater and steve vai, and G3, were by far the most inspirational and have definitely inproved me as a musician.. I went to all of then just to see my favorite bands and artists, but I always get moneys worth.. ans a whole ****load of inspiration.. |
