Here's my three favorite actors:
3. Michael J. Fox: Most of you already know that I'm a huge Back to the future fan. Well, I can tell you that these movies wouldn't have been the same without good old Mike. He's (or should I say, WAS) a fantastic actor, and can play pretty much anything. His chemistry with Christopher Lloyd in Robert Zemeckis' BttF trilogy was sentational. I nearly fainted when I learned that he was affected by the Parkinson disease. It's a real shame. We have lost a real star; but this star will never be forgotten. Take care of you, Michael!
2. Kevin Spacey : What can I say? He's simply....phenomenal. I started to like him when I watched The negicator for the first time. Since then, I became one of his fans. Everytime he appears, he litteraly OWNS the screen. He currently has two extremly-well deserved Academy Awards (both for Best actor, I believe), and his career is FAR from over.
1. Robin Williams : Here's a guy who made me cry, laugh and think for the past ten years. No actors has made such a tremendous impact on my life than Robin Williams. He's quite possibly the most dynamic actor/comedian in the history of Hollywood (IMO). Just watch movies like Good Morning Viet-nam , Hook , Mrs. Doubtfire (although the movie itself was a bit silly), Good Will hunting and you'll see what I mean. His most recent movie (One hour photo) is a knock-out, and he delivered a solid, shocking and stunning performance. A shining star among the others....
Who is (or are) YOUR favorite(s)? |

Jodie Foster: many don't like her but i think that she is one of the greatest actresses of all time. She has played amazing roles in Contact and Anna and the King. i really respect her and i'm always waiting for a new movie by her.
Laurence Fishburne: one of the best actors i've ever seen...i first saw him in The Matrix. He was so good, just so convincing of his role...he really brought Morpheus to life. I have seen him in parts of othe movies as well. Even in the previews for The Matrix: Reloaded...the part they had him say was so good..."What if the Phrophecy is true?...What if tomorrow, the war could be over?...Isn't that worth fighting for? Isn't that worth dying for?..." it was the way he said it...i was blown away... |

Male:
- Tom Hanks. -- He seems like a given, but has yet to have been named. He has more oscars than facial hairs.
- Laurence Fishburne was absolutely amazing in "Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned," I've never seen him better. I don't much care for any of his other films except Boyz N the Hood and Miss Evers' Boys.
- Simon Baker. The centered role in CBS's "The Guardian," he has a way to face the issues that concern him and his father with this apathetic face, but still showing that he cares. It's rather amazing.
- Kevin Rahm co-stars in "Judging Amy," but he's what people would view as the typical antagonist of the show, aside from what the lead character faces with her work. He's a recovering junkie who is also an Ivy-league med student struggling in his renewed residency.
Female:
- Tyne Daly. Anyone who has seen an episode of "Cagney and Lacey" knows that Tyne Daly is as good of an actor as any woman alive. She's a major part of CBS's "Judging Amy," and in nearly every new show she manages to shock me with her performance. |
