I have... never heard of him.

But then again, I would be the first to say that I'm not well-read, so yeah.

What are some of his most famous works?

I'll try to send 'em to you, but since I speak spanish and I download the Poems on spanish I'll have to traduce em first, but I'll tell you the names of the books anyway.

Charles baudelaire: Las Fleurs du mal, La Fanfarlo, Les paradis artificiels and Petits poèmes en prose.

From Aloysius Bertrsand: Gaspard de la Nuit and Scarbo.

"translate"

With that, I think I can find them. They're in Spanish? What language were they originally written in?

I'll have to find it for myself, I guess ^^
